About Niki
A veteran Decorator-turned-Production Designer, Niki brings a balance of creativity, strategic thinking and industry knowledge to every project - based in Canada, working where the job takes her.
Niki entered the film industry with diplomas in both Small Business and Professional Photo-Imaging and a decade of experience working in Stills Advertising as a Producer, Branding Consultant and Rep. After 14 years predominantly decorating television commercials, she stands on a rock-solid foundation of honed skills and expertise as a Production Designer.
Based in Vancouver, Canada, her longstanding relationships with local vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors and crew provide the support required to successfully complete any job.
Road show? No problem. Having worked on stills and motion projects in Australia, Jamaica, Alaska, Alberta, Quebec and throughout BC, Niki has developed the invaluable ability to integrate into new environments, adapt resourcefully and foster local relationships. From the great outdoors to a soundstage with custom-built sets or an existing location reimagined, Niki thrives on turning concepts into reality in any environment.
She leads projects with strategic insight, a firm grasp on budget management and a true passion for creative storytelling through design.
Niki has worked with every major television commercial production company in Vancouver, directly with U.S. production companies and direct-to-client. Over the years, her work has aired on televisions across North America including multiple Superbowl ads; has been featured in Vogue and Time magazines; and most notably received a Daytime Emmy nomination (E.T.: A Holiday Reunion, Outstanding Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design - Set Decorator).
